This Refund Policy sets out the terms under which GoEducated.com (SPPS Fly High Edutech Pvt. Ltd.) accepts requests for refunds, cancellations, and fee adjustments. It is drafted in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020, and the UGC Guidelines on Online Education. Please read this policy carefully before completing any purchase on our Platform.
1. General Principles
GoEducated.com is committed to ensuring learner satisfaction. Our refund framework is designed to be fair, transparent, and compliant with applicable Indian consumer protection law. We distinguish between:
- GoEducated-Delivered Courses: Foundation coaching, competitive exam coaching, career counselling, and in-person offline classes at our Bengaluru centre.
- Partner Institution Courses: Programmes offered by Boston Institute of Analytics (BIA), AICerts, partner universities, and other third-party institutions listed on the Platform.
- Study Abroad Services: Application facilitation, documentation assistance, and university admission guidance.
Refund eligibility, timelines, and conditions differ by course category. Please review the applicable section carefully before submitting a refund request.
2. Refund Eligibility — GoEducated-Delivered Courses
2.1 Full Refund
A full refund of the course fee (less payment gateway transaction charges of up to 2%) will be provided if:
- You cancel your enrolment within 7 calendar days of the Confirmation of Enrolment AND before accessing any course content, attending any live class, or downloading any study material.
- GoEducated cancels the course or batch and cannot offer a suitable alternative batch within 30 days.
- The course, as delivered, is materially different from its published description on the Platform.
2.2 Proportional Refund
A proportional refund based on unused course duration may be considered (at the Company’s sole discretion) if:
- You are unable to continue the course due to a medical emergency (documentary evidence required).
- A verified technical failure on our part prevents access to the Platform for more than 7 continuous days.
2.3 No Refund
No refund will be issued in the following circumstances:
- Cancellation request received after the 7-day free cancellation window.
- You have accessed course content, attended one or more live/recorded sessions, or downloaded study materials, and no valid grounds for refund exist.
- Failure to attend scheduled classes due to personal reasons, low internet speed, or device incompatibility.
- Dissatisfaction with the difficulty level of the course where the published syllabus and level were clearly indicated at the time of enrolment.
- Account suspension or termination arising from breach of the Terms of Service.
- Change of mind after the 7-day cancellation window.
3. Refund Eligibility — Partner Institution Courses (BIA, AICerts, Universities)
Refunds for Partner Institution programmes are governed primarily by the respective Partner Institution’s refund and cancellation policy. GoEducated facilitates the refund process but is not the decision-making authority for such refunds.
3.1 Boston Institute of Analytics (BIA) Courses
- BIA’s refund policy applies and will be communicated to you at the time of enrolment.
- As a general guideline, BIA permits refund requests within 7 days of course commencement, subject to the learner not having accessed more than 2 sessions or modules.
- GoEducated will coordinate with BIA on your behalf and communicate the decision within 15 working days of your request.
3.2 AICerts Certification Courses
- AICerts courses, once confirmed and access granted, are generally non-refundable due to the digital nature of the certification content.
- Where AICerts is unable to deliver the programme as described, a full refund or credit for an alternative certification will be offered.
- GoEducated will process AICerts-related refund requests within 20 working days.
3.3 University Degree and Diploma Programmes
- University-affiliated programmes follow the respective university’s fee refund schedule, which is regulated by the UGC Regulations on Annual Fees for Students Withdrawing from Universities and Colleges.
- As per UGC guidelines (applicable where the university is a UGC-recognised institution), learners withdrawing before the last date for admission may be entitled to a full or partial refund of fees, excluding a processing fee not exceeding the equivalent of one month’s fees.
- GoEducated’s facilitation fee (if separately charged) is non-refundable once the application has been submitted to the university.
The UGC Refund Rules apply: If a student withdraws admission before the last date of admission, the institution shall refund all fees collected after deducting an administrative/processing fee not exceeding ₹1,000. Please verify the specific university’s refund schedule at the time of enrolment.
4. Refund Eligibility — Study Abroad Services
- Application filing fee: Non-refundable once the application has been submitted to the foreign university.
- GoEducated facilitation fee: Refundable within 5 working days if you cancel before your application is filed. Non-refundable once filing has commenced.
- University application fees paid to foreign institutions are governed by those institutions’ own policies. GoEducated will assist you in pursuing refunds from foreign institutions but cannot guarantee outcomes.
- Visa documentation assistance fees: Non-refundable once documentation preparation has commenced.
5. Refund Eligibility — Career Counselling Sessions
- Group counselling webinars: Refundable in full if cancelled at least 48 hours before the scheduled session start time. Non-refundable if cancelled within 48 hours or after the session has commenced.
- One-on-one counselling sessions: Refundable in full if rescheduled or cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. No refund for no-shows or last-minute cancellations (within 24 hours of the session).
- Counselling packages (multi-session): Unused sessions may be refunded on a per-session basis if a valid reason is provided within 30 days of the last attended session.
6. EMI and Instalment Plans
- If you have enrolled using an EMI plan facilitated through Razorpay or a banking partner, the EMI agreement is between you and the lending institution. GoEducated cannot cancel or modify EMI agreements on your behalf.
- Any refund approved by GoEducated will be credited to your original payment source. Where EMI instalments have already been deducted, please coordinate with your bank or Razorpay for restructuring.
- Foreclosure charges, if any, levied by the lending institution are not GoEducated’s responsibility.
7. How to Submit a Refund Request
To initiate a refund, please follow these steps:
- Step 1: Email your request to reachus@goeducated.com with the subject line: “REFUND REQUEST — [Your Full Name] — [Course Name]”
- Step 2: Include the following information: Full Name, Registered Email ID, Mobile Number, Course Name, Enrolment Date, Order/Transaction ID, Reason for Refund, and supporting documentation (if applicable, e.g., medical certificate).
- Step 3: Our team will acknowledge your request within 48 working hours and communicate the eligibility determination within 7 working days.
- Step 4: Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within the timelines specified below.
8. Refund Processing Timelines

Processing timelines are from the date of approval of the refund by GoEducated. Bank processing times are beyond GoEducated’s control.
9. Course Transfers and Deferrals
As an alternative to a refund, you may request:
- Course Transfer: Transfer your enrolment to a different batch of the same course (subject to availability), within 30 days of enrolment, at no additional charge.
- Course Deferral: Defer your enrolment to the next available batch (subject to availability and a minimum 15-day advance notice).
- Credit Wallet: The refundable amount may be credited to your GoEducated Account Wallet for use towards future course purchases within 12 months.
Course transfer, deferral, and credit wallet options are available only for GoEducated-delivered courses and are subject to the Company’s approval.
10. Non-Refundable Charges
The following charges are non-refundable under all circumstances:
- Razorpay or other payment gateway processing fees (typically 1.5–2.5% of the transaction value).
- GST already remitted to the Government of India.
- Registration or application processing fees where clearly disclosed at the time of payment.
- Study material costs where physical materials have been dispatched.
- Certification examination fees remitted to AICerts, BIA, or other certification bodies.
11. Dispute Resolution
If you are dissatisfied with GoEducated’s refund decision, you may:
- Escalate the matter to our Grievance Officer at reachus@goeducated.com within 30 days of the refund decision.
- File a complaint with the National Consumer Helpline (NCH) at consumerhelpline.gov.in or call 1800-11-4000 / 1915.
- Approach the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (District, State, or National) under the Consumer Protection Act 2019.
12. Fraudulent Refund Requests
GoEducated takes fraudulent refund requests seriously. Any misrepresentation of facts (including submitting forged medical certificates or false transaction details) to obtain a refund may result in:
- Permanent account suspension without refund.
- Recovery of any refund amount already processed.
- Legal action under the Indian Penal Code 1860 / Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita 2023 and the Information Technology Act 2000.
13. Policy Amendments
GoEducated reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. The revised policy will be posted on the Platform with a new Effective Date. Changes will not affect refund requests that have already been submitted prior to the date of the change.
